MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) - The 20th edition of the sports and cultural festival Vytoki will kick off in Pruzhany on 6 June, BelTA has learned.
The anniversary edition will be held in one town this year. According to the NOC, the new format will make the festival more spectacular, eventful and interesting. The festival will offer an insight into the historical heritage of Pruzhany, folk crafts and famous people of the city.
The festival will start with the national tourism campaign “Travel! Experience! Get Inspired”. Visitors will be able to get a free pass to tourist sites of Pruzhany. On the first day of the festival, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will demonstrate its exhibition and presentation. The exposition will highlight key developments of Belarusian scientists in various fields of the national economy. On the same day, at 18:00, the Mukhavets Stadium will host an art interactive event to decorate a new multi-purpose roller skating skatepark. The first day of the festival will wrap up with the screening of a film at the stadium.
A sports and historical quest will be organized at various locations of the town on 7 June. The roller skating skatepark will be presented during the official opening ceremony that will begin at 19:00. The program will end with an interactive theatrical performance.
The final day of the Vytoki festival, 8 June, will open with The Vytoki Quiz. The festival program will continue with an Olympic quest open for the children under 14 years old. Interesting tasks in each sport will be prepared for children at 26 sports locations. Those who will complete all the tasks will be able to take part in a lottery and win a weekend tour to the Bug sanatorium for the whole family from the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.
The festival will continue with the Battle of Cover Songs. The festival will culminate with a concert, a spectacular light and pyrotechnic show and a disco.
Food courts and the Belarusian Brands stands will be running in Pruzhany during the festival.
