4. The goal of the project: to provide disabled people of group I , wheelchair users, and disabled people with musculoskeletal disorders living in the Brest region with accessible, comfortable transport services, with the aim of social integration into society. |

5. Tasks planned for implementation within the framework of the project: - expand the list of services in the state institution “Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of the Brest District” by providing transportation services for wheelchair users and bedridden patients; - conduct an information campaign to promote free, charitable transport services for disabled children in wheelchairs, wheelchair users, and people with disabilities of the musculoskeletal system; - provide free transport services, for the duration of the project, to disabled children in wheelchairs, wheelchair users, and disabled people with musculoskeletal disorders. - organize events to overcome the social isolation of group I disabled people, wheelchair users, disabled children in wheelchairs, single elderly citizens with musculoskeletal disorders who do not have disabilities and live in the Brest region. Increasing their mobility, social activity, and involvement in cultural life. |

6. Target groups: Group I disabled people , disabled children in wheelchairs and their parents, disabled people with musculoskeletal disorders, single elderly citizens with musculoskeletal disorders who do not have disabilities. |

7. Brief description of activities within the project: - acquisition of specialized transport; - carrying out the necessary procedures for registering and organizing the work of social transportation; - organization of the operator’s workplace (purchase of: telephone, computer, printer, furniture); - creation of a computer database for quantitative and qualitative accounting of project implementation and services provided; - conducting an information campaign about the work of social transportation using the media; - provision of transport services to disabled people and single elderly citizens; - development and organization of excursion and familiarization routes to social and cultural sites, historical and architectural monuments of the city of Brest and the Brest region. This project is aimed at solving social problems related to the creation of an accessible living environment for a group of the population of the Brest region - disabled people of group I , wheelchair users, disabled children in wheelchairs, single elderly citizens with musculoskeletal disorders living in rural areas. |
